Best and Worst Dressed, Tressed and Plain Old Mess

Drumroll please! So the best dressed of the 2010 Emmy's goes to...well someone not even nominated or presenting. Instead, it is fellow journalist and Access Hollywood correspondent Maria Menounos. Though we've seen her in better makeup, her one of a kind, handmade with over 15,000 Swarvoski crystal Ralph and Russo cut-out gown took home the award. Curves in just the right places without looking classless, she could be little Miss Emmy. Way to go Maria! Hollywood starlets take note.

also what was with the hair and makeup-it was like old Hollywood glam met goth chic, the heavy powder and red lips were reminiscent of Sandra Bullock at the Oscars. It was a throwback that should be thrown back to the 20s. There is a reason we live in 2010. The updos however, were better lots of twist and chic loose buns like I expected. Luckily, not many had their buns running loose though in their gowns, even Kim Kardashian managed to hide the junk in her trunk. Overall, ok some sparkle some flash but no real Hollywood shine, and Fallon was a fail trying to cover up the bad comedy by turning it into a musical. Is everything reverting back to HSM? That was so five years ago! And another thing...Tina Fey get over the black already. You've won three awards already and your slim, you don;t need the whole black is slimming thing. Try some color. It's an awards show not my mammy's funeral. I'll let you know when that comes around, I may need to borrow that dress. On the other hand, if I ever take a trip to Spain I'll call up Anna Paquin and borrow her matador costume...Alexander McQueen was a legend who made beautifully unique pieces. He has done better and Anna could've chosen better. Enough said, on to the next one...the Oscars are how many months away now?

Gimme Some Emmy!

Hugh Watch Out!

Hefner better watch his back, D&G has got it out for the big man with their big take on the bunny. However, instead of the typical furry tail and ears, they went the snow bunny route this Fall 2010 on the runway with furry boots and ears. Using heavy knits and one piece suits adorned in black and white, their exaggerated take on the slopes made me want to learn to ski, or at least dress the part. Then again isn't that what life is about most of the time: dressing the part? See fashion does have a deeper meaning to it: philosophy. Jess Alba Strikes Gold at "Machete" Premiere

Jessica Alba struck gold at the premiere of her new action film "Machete" in LA. Although I have not received confirmation on whether it is a Balmain dress, from the texture to the lifted shoulder design, I am assuming it is, and boy did her curves pull it off. As if she needed to strike it rich!

Getting Serious?

Is it possible that playboy and bonified hottest man on earth Cristiano Ronaldo is getting serious with new lady and bonified hottie herself, Irina Shayk? Well, it certainly seems like it as the two were spotted the other evening ca-noodling with another sharing puppy dog eyes and laughs as they watched the U.S. defeat Madrid in basketball. On a sidenote: they embody evening out chic with Irina's sleek hair color and style, her short shorts and white low cut chirt to match his striped shirt and glistening locks. Brangelina watch out. These two are definitely the hottest couple on the planet now! Imagine if they had kids? Oooh too much for right now. Let's just soak them in.

A Bun in the Down Under Oven

Looks like another VS Angel is expanding her wings and family. Miranda Kerr, the famous Aussie model who just created her own organic skincare line and website, KORA, along with a book, and cute hubby-Orlando Bloom, is now adding baby to the list. According to sites, Ms. Kerr or Mrs. Bloom, has been preggers for 4 months. Well, she's done a good job of keeping the bun in the oven. Then again, she has been under the paps radar so really no surprise here. Congrats! In a few months the world will be an even more beautiful place!

The Leaves aren't the Only Things Changing Color

While the leaves make way for the change of seasons by changing colors so should your hair. Whether you plan on darkening your waves or adding a black headband like we saw at Lagerfeld, your hair deserves a change. The colder months are usually the time when people get back to their roots, exchanging the bleach bottle for some black dye, but even for those like myself who have black hair to start with you can still make a change without going drastic. For dark hair girls like Kim Kardashian, the latest craze is to take it a shade lighter. That is, go from pure black to dark brown or mocha, either adding highlights or completely dying your dark, luscious locks. It isn't drastic, but it does say I welcome change. Looks like the leaves aren't the only thing that will be turning brown!

While nude is making its way in once again this Fall, you can always fall back this Fall on a timeless shade: black. Kourtney Kardashian was seen in a beautiful black jumpsuit leaving E! Studios yesterday after paying a visit to "Chelsea Lately." I am investigating who its by right now, but regardless its probably at least one hundred bucks. Puma of the Week

Last week, I aptly entitled this post "Hottie of the Week." However, considering the person must not only be hot but ambitious and talented too, I decided more appropriate title would be "Puma." This week's Puma is female(sorry boys), and her recent chases have paid off in the form of a successful TV show about to enter its third season, a hot bod, hot beau, charitable heart, and accolades as recent as yesterday. Who is this puma? Drumroll please.........

It is none other than 23 year old blue eyed beauty Annalynne McCord. From last year's "Breakthrough Awards" where she won for "breakthrough performance" in a striking Herve Leger bondage dress, to her close knit family and sisters, to her even hotter beau Kellan lutz, not to mention her affinity for charities and her dedication to help projects like those to build homes in New Orleans, her heart and beauty and talents are as sleek and fashionable as she is. McCord Breaks Through

...That is at this year's "Breakthrough of the Year Awards" held last night in CA. That was where she won "breakthrough performance"' for "90210" and also breakthrough outfit for choosing a go-to Fall color and style in her pea green Herve Leger dress. Also in attendance were her sisters who sported different color Leger dresses. Kudos to Annalynne for rockin' the dress, the awards, and even extensions with her sleek back long ponytail. A nice change that paid off in more than one way!

Mrs. Brian Austin Green, a.k.a. Megan Fox was spotted in some daisy dukes and that hideous fashion faux pas she seems to be addicted to these days, a green fish baseball cap on her way to visit her hubby at work. First off, who knew BAG had an office? And second, if she wants people to see here as representing something more than sex, why doesn't she start with not licking her lips?! It seem in every pic of her she is licking them like they are the Sahara desperate fro rain drops. Until she knocks that off, sorry Meg, but boys are going to get off...on you.

At the TCA Who Walked Away

Wanna know who won at this year's TCA's? Well, for a complete list you can go to the actual site, but I iwll just tell you who won the most important award of the night choice female/male hottie. Drum roll please!.....And the winners are Taylor Lautner and Megan Fox. The only slight surprise here may be Taylor because his competition was RPatz, but I for one am happy the awkward RPtaz finally got knocked out by Taylor's larger and fitter biceps. Congrats to all... except I still don't get the whole "Glee" phenomenon. Anyone wanna explain it to me?

PDA at the TCA

So while it has not aired yet our friends at sites like gossipcenter.com have beat me to the punch again and already out up pics from the TCA '10. These latest are of hottie Megan Fox and her new hubby Brian Austin Green, who you can catch on Desperate Housewives this Fall, showing some PDA inside and on the carpet. Besides they themselves as being eye candy, more importantly let us pay attention to the eye candy our dear Meg is sporting. While I must say a metallic aluminum bubbly skirt like that can be hard to pull off without it looking like its from Wal-Mart, she manages to pull it off. The summer ensemble is complete with a pretty abstract royal blue lose fitting shirt and some plain black peep toe heels. Meg isn't the only one who opted for metallics and black and blue. The Kardashians arrived in metallics and shimmery black, as well as Selena Gomez choosing white, and Victoria Justice going with blue. Overall, the hues that dominated were white, black, blue, and silver...a little boring if you asked me but the stars shined nevertheless. See more tonight when it airs on FOX.

Well, besides the Teen Choice Awards being hosted by the "hottest" on the planet, Katy Perry, many other hotties will be there including Megan Fox, Selena Gomez, Ian Somerhalder, and hopefully RPatz and KLutz. While it was taped yesterday and you can find current pics streaming now (I will add them as soon as they are available), if you want to know more scoop what better way to find out than to tune in?! A KLutz in AC

I am very happy to report that our dear Kellan Lutz was spotted hanging at my favorite place in AC, the Borgata this past weekend. However, I am unhappy to report that I was not there. A heads up would've been nice?! Oh well maybe next time, I am not giving up even if he is with that Annalynne.

The hottie of the week or correction, maybe of the century is none other than Cristiano Ronaldo. He was just spotted on the 7th in California greeting another bona fide hottie David Beckham as their two futbol teams met for a match. What else can I say? His abs and face have left me speechless. Clean Up Your Act or Make A Mess?

This Fall's fashion runways have been sending us mixed signals. While on the professional and business sphere front designers like Burberry and Louis Vuitton have been telling us to clean up our act with classic silhouettes and nude trenches, designers like Isabel Marant have been telling us to keep a messy closet incorporating chunky sweaters with skirts. How do we interpret the language of fashion for Fall? Choose both! Why not? Save the nudes and trenches for the work week, and on the weekend let people know its the weekend, and time for play by pairing a chunky off the shoulder sweatshirt with a ballerina inspired tulle skirt and some converse or military boots. Your friends on the playground and a few of the boys will invite you to play ball, and then maybe when dinner rolls around you can slip back into that trench. Just remember to wear something underneath it. Fall is calling for nude as in color, not as in flesh!

Posh and Hermes Take Flight

While Posh was just spotted yesterday looking nothing less toting a classic black Hermes, not only did it get me wondering does she have that bag in every color now? But, it also got me asking when will she create her own bags. I mean she already designs gowns, jeans, and shades, why not shoes and purses? Well hope does not spring eternal in this case guys and dolls, because apparently Posh is in talks with a few designers to get a high fashion handbag line going. Walt Disney famously said, "A dream is a wish your heart makes...". Now, I have heard everyone and their mother make this their FB status or tweet so many times its ridiculous. I mean I like it, but it has become so cliche. I decided it needed an update and after thinking about how I could possibly improve a Walt Disney quote, the child in me laughed and I decided I couldn't. So I didn't. Instead I added to it, and here are my thoughts for the day. "A dream is a wish your heart makes, and your mind sets out to conquer." Conquer it people! Conquer it in your favorite Louboutins or your new Puma Ducati's. Just conquer it, don't leave it in your heart. Get active and conquer it!

Sarah Jessica Parker was looking better than usual when spotted out last night at Donna Karan's personal estate with her hubby Matthew Broderick. Wearing a nude coat below and sleek hair silhouette, she was as usual one step ahead for Fall, proving that even after SATC, SJP will never lose her style star status.

A Fox the Face of Armani Cosmetics

Fans of Armani rejoice! As if Megan Fox and Cristiano Ronaldo being the faces and bodies of Armani Jeans this past spring wasn't enough for you, there is more to come. Megan Fox has just signed on to be the face of their cosmetics line, and we have one of the first photos thanks to Spanish Vogue. While her lips look a little too (unnaturally) pouty, we are digging the eyes. Very Foxy! But what what else did we expect?

Irina Shayk; She Puts the "I" in 'It Girl"

Move over Megan Fox. There is a new girl in town and she hails from a very, very small town I am not even going to attempt to pronounce in Russia. Her name is Irina Shayk, a rising 26 year old model, with a face that is a mix between Jessica Alba, Adriana Lima, and Angelina Jolie, it has been strewn about Guess, Armani, and just recently South African GQ. Her "it" factor only rises when you hear that she has been spotted arm in arm with Cristiano Ronaldo, a star in his own right. Together they are proving to be this summer's "it" couple. Could you imagine what the babies would look like? Well, considering Cristiano just had one of his own already, and that he has been spotted in LA hanging with Kim Kardashian, there is no telling whether this "it" thing is real or just another summer fling for playboy Ronaldo. Only time will tell, but either way Irina and Cristiano are not going away anytime soon. Look for Irina next in Kanye's 'Power" video, and follow her officially on twitter/facebook.

Ms. Klum in Bloom

Heidi Klum, who is currently vacationing in Italy with her hubby Seal and brood of children, also made time last week to host the premiere party for season 8 of 'Project Runway." At the same time she managed to look fabulous wearing a summer white romper and ravishing red heels beneath the black geometric blazer. Very Sharp Ms. Klum, you are fully in bloom this summer. Bravo!
