AnnaLynne and Kellan: Black Beauties

On and off-again couple Kellan Lutz and Annalynne McCord were spotted seated in the same exact row at a recent fashion week show, according to NY Magazine. While eyewitnesses couldn't see if they chatting or spatting, they certainly both looked beautiful in head-to-toe black, an essential Fall color and one that you can never wear too much of. I have to say, even though I don't want these two to be together, Anna's fashion choice here compared to her others, is making me change my opinion of her. In fact, I am ready to go buy this dress, even if it digs a deeper whole in my wallet. Her body is tight and she is finally picking pieces that flaunt it. Despite this, we still want Kellan single, oh and blond again.

Emmanuelle Chriqui Fires up Fashion

I haven't seen her in a while and though she doesn't have pillowy lips or bright blue eyes, there is something about Emmanuelle Chriqui that makes her one of the prettiest women in Hollywood. If only she got more on-screen time. Luckily, she has been spotted off-screen checking out the Bryant Park fashion shows for fashion week, according to Gossipgirls.com. While her dress had a nice cut, the animal print choice is getting old and made it a flub. Besides the print though, she looked fabosh. So here's to more Emanuelle and fashion! Posh is Fabosh

Posh is making me coin new phrases, like "fabosh" after she stepped out last evening looking nothing less in thigh-high stiletto boots and a peachy hot corset piece. This was all in the name of fashion week, which finds its home in NYC. A lot of people were "iffy" on this choice by Posh, but lately it's a little different from her usual Audrey Hepburnish blah choices, and with a frame like that, she can pretty much wear anything. We can't wait to see what the other celebs and fashionistas pull out for the rest of the week. In the meantime, more fashion is heading our way into the cinemas with the new Anna Wintour documentary called, "The September Issue." Look for it in a theatre near you, and catch your fav celebs in fashion fabosh's and flabs in my blog.

Beckham's Back in Black

None other than the fashion queen herself was spotted heading sky high at LAX in her own sky-high plumps, a dress from her collection, and a Birkin, according to Gossipgirls.com. She is such a petite sophisticate, si? Her recent cropped dark locks and dress taste reminds me of another petite sophisticate from a few decades back. Yes, VB seems to be successfully channeling her self-proclaimed idol, Audrey Hepburn. For women who may not have ass, she shows you can still have class.

Two is Always Better Than One, Right?

Did everyone watch the Season 2 premiere of 90210? Thoughts? While I think the characters of Naomi, Dixon, and Adrianna got hotter, the new guys are not so much. And, is it just e or does Silver suddenly look really old? Who knew bowl cut Adrianna, played by Jesssica Lowndes would end up being the hottest one on there?I guess a little extra hair can go a long way. I mean, shelooks exactly like Megan Fox now!
Besides the look, it was so slow moving and hottie Ethan, played by Dustin Milligan is gone. These changes have me wondering, is two really better than one? Thus far, no.Yet, this all leads to a biger point. Just how important are first impressions? Well considering everyone goes back to the first season of shows and bases judgment and relationships from there just like in real life, obviously very.

Polly Pocket Watch Your Back!

Okay so, I just had to share this story with you. As the majority of teenage and twenty-something women are aware, tonight at 8p.m. on the CW is the two-hour premiere of "America's Next Top Model." While my mind is telling me to get over this trashy version of a fashion show, my heart says no. Alas, it remains my guilty pleasure. Shh! Don't tell anyone. But, I will tell you this. Last night my mother caught a glimpse of the promo and it said the models are all 5' 7" and under. Now you need to know some background here before I finish.
My mother had been staring at proofs for my sister's high school graduation portraits. So, all of a sudden she calls to me from the other room, "Oh, Pina did you know she is going to have all 5 x 7 women?" I repeat 5 "by" 7 as in the photo size. I responded,"yeah she's going with wallet size. That's so in right now." All I can say is thank God for Kate Moss and to all you wallet size girls, apparently you are not alone. ;)

Breaking Brunette News!

Kim Kardashian has been spotted in Beverly Hills today and so have her signature luscious brunette locks ,according to Gossipgirls.com. While she looked hot as a blonde, it is good to see that Kim caught on: natural is always the most faboosh! I am glad to see Kim has gone back to her roots. Not only have her locks changed, but her weight too. She looks so faboosh and is getting skinnier everyday. I only wish I could commend her recent wardrobe choices. I mean, yeah this shade of green is in for Fall, but the blouse as a dress thing does nothing for her figure. Her choices have been blah, well at least her hair isn't! Jumpin' for Jumpsuits

photo below courtesy of Google images and Kim K.'s official site

I went crazy this summer for jumpsuits, especially this awesome silver one I found for twenty bucks on clearance at TJ MAXX. I recently got to wear mine on a trip in July to AC to meet the Kardashians with my sis Ang, and the about two days later I saw Kim Kardashian wearing a similar silver jumpsuit. It had red on it and the top was a different cut, but either way I still like to think her seeing me in mine is what inspired her to jump in one. So, I will take credit for that one, sorry Kim. As for Fall, they'll still be in style just in different hues and with a blazer or jean jacket.

Sucker for Sequins

I am a sucker for sequins, and since the death of MJ, they are only going to continue blowing up.You can use them as accessories by just cutting squares of it and sticking a pin through it and utting it like a brooch on whatever you are. The material is cheap and available at all craft stores. You can also always TopShop it and go for a nice blinged out blazer. They are nice in navy blue or a light white. Either way just don't do the glove thing, only one man could pull it off. (Photo courtesy of LookBook.com, blazer courtesy of TopShop.)

"How You Doing?"

In the words of Wendy Williams, check out her new talk show. It's on every weekday morning on FOX at 10 a.m. She really wakes me up and jumpstarts my day. She's hilarious, real, and not afraid to be loud. She has the latest gossip and dish and she always makes me laugh. So with your cup of tea or joe grab a cup of Wendy because her show is what's hot.

Sick, That's for Shore!

I am so sick of studying this week for finals and of course only this university would schedule finals on the Friday afternoon right before Labor Day. I have had to go back and forth from the shore to here and cannot wait until that 5:30 bell or in Philly, ambulence siren sounds so that I can make my way back to the shore and bask in the beautiful sand and sun. I love the sand and cannot wait, Wildwood here I come! Well, not quite yet. I have got to get through this Econ final first. Oops!

Silence of A Lamb: A Sneak Peek

Here is a sneak peek at some poems I wrote that will be included in a book I am working on, Silence of a Lamb. The concept for it is to share my life experiences through my poems. Here are a few of my favorite ones:

“Shaken not stirred”
If life were to be shaken. not stirred
Well life then my good lord
Would be regarded as absurd!

“The Chronicles of My Life”
The chronicles of my life are written on my hands,
My face, my wrinkles like the valleys
I danced through as a child singing and laughing.
Expressions told my tale,
And evidence of these chronicles will hold me as I am frail.
The chronicles of my life can be found in my hair
That has grayed with the changing of the seasons.
A cold came through that turned me white as snow,
And these strings that dangle across my brow
Are proof that I am a woman of yesteryear bewildered by now.
The chronicles of my life are written upon these lips:
A chapped, crimson red that has served as the shore line to my changing tides,
And standing witness to loss of innocence as I bathed them in a many lies.
It has weathered a many of my storms and that of the others
Who shared in its flavor and drained from it its colors.
The chronicles of my life are written in this form:
A soul held by a mind and heart,
Enclosed within a body bordered by
A picture frame that changes with history.
The chronicles of my life are written by, within, and on me.

“Dancing With Myself”
May I have this dance I asked as those hands enveloped mine,
And darkness was forgotten as we stood alone in the spotlight
The slow pace of the rythym changed with my request
And I danced myself away that nightLeaving treadmarks in the shadows that chased my shining light
The glares were all a spectacle as the audience gazed on
Astonished by the flow of my white dress as I spun and split across the dance floor
Faces bewildered by my actions: “Why would she take that risk to place faith in another?”
My simple response would be, “because I am guaranteed to land in the arms of one I trust. Now will you excuse me, kind sir and madam, while I go dancing with myself.”

Wendy's Not Trendy's

Ok, so there are a few fashion trends that have been out this summer that I won't be caught dead in and are dying thank God! They look like something the Wendy's drive thru spokesperson should be wearing. In othe words, no matter if you blow $300 on them, they're cheap and fugly looking. First off, the maxi dress. While I will admit I own one, I only pull it out when I am at the beach over a bikini or slumped out. I do not think they are fashionable unless paired with a jean jacket or the right accessories. Also, I cannot stand the ones with bold patterns, and the najority of them look like they are sweeping the floors. Now mind you, there is a difference between long t-shirt dresses like this one Hollister has on sale, versus a floral halter maxi, which hides every shape. If you're preggers or six feet tall go for it, but if your young and hot show it off! Second, I hate floral patterns. It's so "Little House on the Prairie." Unless you're going to Sunday brunch with the fam, put away the sundresses. They make every woman lok like a little girl and thus attract the wrong eye (a.k.a.-Predators). Finally, heart-shaped sunglasses. Save them for when you have a man/woman and you want him/her to know how much he/she means, not when you're looking. I guarantee you they won't help in your search.

Denim is the new Legging

I will admit I just purchased the shredded white skinny jeans at Wet Seal for $20. This summer they were considered the new legging. While for fall, they are still in in black, even bigger and better is the move back to traditional leggings. Well, traditional with a twist.

Leggings are back, but in denim. Beyonce, Rhianna, and Audrina have been spotted in them and they are only going to blow up. Add a zipper side and you've got a biker look. They can be found at Forever 21 or one of my designer dicsount fav stores:TJ Maxx. They are selling zipper-side ones for $5!

Don't count out skinny denim though. While denim is no longer the legging, it is in in bleached washes. Acid and the eighties are back in a big way, so either invade your mama's closet, go to Forever 21, H&M, or go vintage. Either way, you'll make Zack Morris proud.
